@tokinblckgie Yeah to be honest I kind of thought of that to even though he mentioned he used to much power when he was in the water prison that Kisame rigged the scroll with he still seemed to be in pretty good shape compared to the condition I thought he would be in when you just opened 7 of the 8 gates. I don't expect a big explanation for it though maybe a sentence or two on the subject if even that since it seems like the author Kishi is speeding up the pace a little.

@lilcam205 I just read it. The fight was pretty crazy, but too damn short imo. Even though I didn't think he could go toe to toe with Kisame without a support team, Gai was like the perfect person to take him down. Only thing I didn't get was how he could open up that many gates without getting seriously injured or something like that. I thought that was supposed to be the one catch behind using the hidden lotus. Either way, Gai's actually pretty scary with those gates opened.

@tokinblckgie It was man Kisame truly lived up to the moniker "Monster of the Hidden Mist". Guy was the most suitable character alive in the present manga to take Kisame down to be technical Guy is basically Kisame's ultimate counter since none of his offense is chakra based. You really should read the new chapter Kisame's story is pretty intersting.
